I want to bake a post Thanksgiving pumpkin pie, recipe asks for a 9 inch pastry shell, BUT I have a 9 1/2 pie pan, would this be a problem?

plz help. my dghtr tried to make brownies in error she put in 1&2/3c. of vegetable oil not 2/3c. How many mixes do I add to compensate?

when baking a cake and i don't have the exact size pan. Would it be better to go up to the next size or down a size?

You're reading I need to buy a new baking pan for my neighbor, but i don't know what brand it is or what type its called. I think it's technically a "jelly roll pan" But its non stick and has a hollow chamber in the bottom. What kind of pan is this?
