I pay my own bills.
I am self employed.
I have heard that expression though,an employer saying to an employee that he pays the employees bills.
How much of an ass can an employer be?
The employee works to keep the company afloat and earns a meager percentage of the profits. In fact the employee pays the employers bills and expenses by working and pays his own bills by using what he earns.

Part time, me.
Also part time, my friend whose house i'm working on.
Full-time, school (ie. the federal government, and loans).
