Are illegal immigrants harming America?

Yes, they are. They dont have enough money to pay for health insurance or their morgages. Therefore, they live off welfare or go to doctors and hospitals knowing that they will be provided with medical assistance. In my school they offer a free health clinic where they allow people to have physicals for FREE. Now, I know that sounds fair and all, but in the end how will they pay the teachers? Doctors? The tax payers are dishing out money for this. I don't think its the fact that the immigrants are illegal but the fact that they dont work hard. Back in the day when the irish, italians, germans, etc came they worked from the bottom up. They tried to learn english, did crappy jobs, and still maintained their dignity and payed it off. Sure not all of them did it but most did. Now the illegal immigrants have this mentality that they can get everything they want and not even learn our language or try hard. They dont do well in school yet they expect the education system to stoop to their level. So as I previously stated, Illegal Immigrants are not the problembecause they are immigrant but because most are too lazy to assimilate into our culture.

They are draining America dry in healthcare.

Most have no health insurance, instead they just go the emergency rooms of hospitals. the federal government requires treatment must be given to everyone. most everyone has some form of health insurance. illegals do not and are playing the system for free healthcare. some hospitals are on the brink of bankruptcy because of this. next time you are near the emergency room of a hospital, go inside and check it out for yourself.

Illeglas are also adding to the crime rate. they do not deposit their money into Americas banks. instead, they send it back home to their country. they are not supporting Americas economy.

Illegals do not know the rules of the road. they violate all kinds of traffic laws and add to the drunk driving mortality rates.

9.5 million jobless Americans would probably have jobs if there were no illigal immigrants.

I don't know that illegal immigrants are harming America, but having a system that allows/requires so many illegal immigrants certainly hurts America.

hopefully, us brits started you's of well but then, you wanted independance and now you have a multi-cultural nation that will have a population of 700million in 2050.
