How can I connect a CRT monitor with a VGA connector to a PS2?

    Not sure if this would work, but what about getting a tv card for your pc (around £25-£30), and feeding your playstation through that instead?

    Wouldn't give the greatest picture mind...

    This is not something you want to do. There is no way to directly connect the two. You would have to buy components to join them and unless you have an urge to throw money away I would suggest highly against this. The game is going to look the same or worse on the monitor if you get it connected. This is due to the standard resolutions of each.

    If you still want to do it do a search online for suppliers that carry the "Multi Purpose XGA (VGA)" unit. This will do exactly what you are looking for.
