RABBIES!

No, it's not fair in the least. Animal abuse laws are far too lenient and in my opinion teach the offender absolutely nothing.

Very little in life is fair. I do agree that society is too quick to condemn some dogs for attacks. Many of the owners should have to pay the consequence for conditioning their dogs to act in an aggressive manner, rather than putting the dog down.

It’s all wrong as far as I’m concerned!! As humans we are supposed to have self control! It’s all part of being a “CIVILISED” human, animals on the other hand are ruled by instinct this is what is supposed to make us different, somehow it’s all gotten a little confused!! We as humans know what is acceptable behaviour a dog dose not!! Unless it is highly trained & even then they can be very unpredictable, I guess as humans we tend to show another side of one of our many traits as often as not, Arrogance!! I’ve never come across an arrogant dog, just some badly trained or adjusted types!! For people though there just is no excuse!! They should know better!! IMO…… :-/ The dog should live!! Put down the human!!!

I think if a dog bites someone the human who owns the dog should pay, not the dog. If it is a stray dog, well then we have a situation. No dog should just be put down unless every effort is made to rehabilitate doggy.
