Atheists : What are the different categories of non-believers? Atheists, agnostics, any others? Could you please differentiate them?

a mind can be athiest. i don't know about agnostics or any others but i know a mind follows the law "to learn" because according to psychology the mind learns all the time. every day. you take in information and so we honor knowledge. and we have our own personal beliefs. those beliefs can have a name if you want them to. and in those beliefs you can believe in god if you want to because we believe we as humans are important and all thought is important to a degree.

Religious people - Believe in a god(s). Atheists - Do not believe in a god(s). Agnostic - Undecided as to whether they do or do not believe in a god(s).

agnostics believe that there is a god, but no human will ever be able to classify him because he is way beyond our understanding, and so they do not try to describe him or his wants, they just say well sure there is a god, but i have no clue what he wants and it is foolish of me to assume i could ever guess it or write a book about his feelings if he had any. atheists believe that agnostics are pussies, that they cant let go of that one string tying them to try to keep alive forever. atheists accept that they will die and that is it, there is no afterlife from what we have seen or know and can ever prove, and atheists refuse to create an afterlife just because of fear of death. they accept nothingness and live their lives to the fullest that they can.

A very basic breakdown: - THEISTS believe in a personal god. DEISTS believe in a god (but not neccesarily a personal one). ATHEISTS don't hold a belief of a god (or MAY hold a belief that there is no god). AGNOSTICS claim to be ignorant of the existence of a god. They may claim that the question is unanswerable or simply unanswerable at this time. Since agnosticism and deism/theism/atheism are not mutually exclusive, an agnostic (while being ignorant of the truth) may or may not BELIEVE that a deity exists. - As an example, I am an agnostic atheist. - Atheism can also be broken down into STRONG and WEAK atheism. WEAK atheists do not believe a god exists. STRONG atheists believe that there is no god.
