You're reading I'm on the pill and am getting married in October. My ovulation calendar says that my most fertile days are thos right after the wedding. If I stop the pill the day of the wedding before finishing the pack will I get pregnant or just get a period?

Thanks, Ganja Girl! I stopped taking it a few months ago so that I could give my body a chance to adjust and then was recently put back on it because of irregular and painful periods. My fiance and I both want kids right away, but my doc says that stopping the pill now won't help me get pregnant any sooner, but will just make my cycles harder to predict, therefore making it harder to get pregnant. Any thoughts? Any advice is appreciated!

my advice, i too suffer a great deal, and was unfortunatly allergic to any pill i was put on(crazy shit happened to my mind and body)so i can empathize..however, it think its great you want to have kids right away, but i personally wouldnt want to risk having an "uninvited guest" to my big day, so, id stop taking it the day after, i assume you and yours will be VERY active and quite honestly, the practicing to make a baby part should be enjoyable, so stop consentrating so much on the "destination" enjoy the "journey" and let nature take its course..eat a healthy diet, blah blah blah..also, start taking prenatal vitamins.
