As an American (USA), do You feel a certain lack of something when looking at the young history of Your nation? Lack of earlier times? If not, do You consider the European part of Your history as Your own?

Oooops. Sorry. I just made a racist mistake. :) Of course for African and every other continent where You come from, the question holds.

We (the US soil today) DOES have a lot of history. We as modern Americans don't really want to think of it as OUR heritage, since it was Native Americans & people of other cultures. Basically anyone who is not a MODERN American, is irrelevant to most people.
