How do I delete the first place in the directory, that is currently reserved for voice mail?

If you have a go phone or a older model(Older than 06) Then you won't be able to change it. Because it is difficult to locate your voice mails number they got tired of the complaints because people kept deleting them so know you can't get rid of it. If it is a newer phone then go to your settings menu, speed dial, and change it there. Or it might be in your address book settings. The sad truth is you can't free up good ol' #1 Hope this helps, David.
