Not much, but just make sure the preacher preaches the word of God and leaves his opinion out.Sola Scriptura(Gods word alone)Here the differences.I'm baptist, but all that matters if the pastor preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ,by faith and grace alone in Jesus Christ and not by works lest any man should boast. http://www.minuteswithmessiah.com/question/baptmethodist.html

A Baptist is a Christian who subscribes to a theology and may belong to a church that, among other things, is committed to believer's baptism (as opposed to infant baptism) and, with respect to church polity, favors the congregational model. Jerry Falwell, Ted Haggard, both were Baptists. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baptist Methodism is a movement of Protestant Christianity represented by a number of denominations and organizations, claiming a total of approximately seventy million adherents worldwide. The movement traces its roots to Reverend John Wesley's evangelical and revival movement in the Anglican Church. Or as explained to me by an Aunt: Methodists believe they can do anything and still go to heaven. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methodism

There isn't a lot of difference....depending on the preacher, of course. I was raised as a Baptist, but I feel just as comfortable in a Methodist church as I do in a Baptist one. Sometimes more so as Baptist preachers tend to get overly "enthusiastic" and scream a lot. Sometimes Baptists tend to be a bit hypocritical as well.
