2nd Answer. This song was a dead ringer for my high school days. H I G H S C H O O L, U. S. A. The song was the same, but the words were changed to match a regional areas different high schools name. The song was really unique. 40 times it was a remake by Tommy Facenda in 1959. I often wondered how many times they had to record this song, in order to include most of the high schools in the United States. If you have never heard this song, find it on Youtube and listen. It was a "one of a kind" song.
