  • I think all snacks should be avoided before you go to bed. Yogurt has it's sugar unless you do a fair share of activity (in or out of bed)to burn off the calories before you go to sleep. :)
  • yogurt slows down ur digestive enzymes and hence must be avoided before bed.

  • Complex carbs are actually a better sleep helper than protein which is harder to digest.
  • I think yogurt contains sugar so perhaps not. I'm not sure if I eat a healthy snack (particularly if you're not supposed to eat anything) but I eat all bran and skimmed milk at night if I'm really hungry.

  • does the yogurt have fruit in it? i heard yogurt that comes with fruit in it isnt very good for you for some reason i do not know off the top of my head (i'll comment later about why not.) if its plain yogurt it should be fine and i wouldnt worry about it as long as you brush your teeth afterwards.

  • I hardly ate today. Had a huge salad with beans, brocolli, and romaine lettuce that I split in half for dinner. I was hungry at 10 at night and felt that a light non-fat yogurt (which I added blueberries and two tablespoons of raw oats), did the trick. It satiated my hunger pangs. Ready for bed now.
  • I love eating yogurt or drinking yogurt drink before I go to sleep. For me, eating or drinking a moderate amount of yogurt before I go to sleep actually helps me sleep. It also does not add onto my weight or make me feel heavy in the morning. I fully recommend yogurt as a night-time snack.
