When doing the driving test (to get your G2), does the instructor ask you to parallel park? (I live in Canada by the way)

On my driving test for a car, they are supposed to do that test, but they never did. We just circled the block and that was it. For part of the truck driving test, I had to parallel the rig on the blind side with not a lot of room for error.
