Awesome answer. It IS unbelievable that so many people are responding negatively. Choose one wrong word and the pretentious grammar police attack you. Funny thing, they don't even respond to the questions that actually do plain out say "Write this for me." The asker obviously meant editor, but if they knew it was called an editor they wouldn't have had to ask the question in the first place, correct? I can do nothing here but laugh out loud.

Yeah, I know what you mean...I figure a Proofer, looks for glaring errors in a written piece, while an Editor makes suggestions for making it flow better, moving bits around or saying, loose this part it's not moving the story forward....or expand on this part. I call them Editors!
