Christianity is not a religion. There is a difference between Christianity and religious denominations. God established his church to be filled with true believers. You will know them by the love they have for all men and for God's creation. If they don't have this love they are false Christians and not a part of God's established church. Religious denominations have different views on some issues like who is the earthly leader of the church and is the bread the actual body of Christ or just a symbol. These issues are unimportant to God and serve only to divide the church. It is the love we show to our fellow man that really counts with God not which church building we go to. It is man who created the divisions not God.

Short answer: God created man, man created religion. God gave up His only BEGOTTEN son, that we could enter into a SIN-FREE RELATIONSHIP with Him. Man screws up again by making that into a religion as well....... ALL religions are COUNTERFEITS, and poor ones at that, of a one-on-one, two-way relationship with Jesus Christ.... Every religion thinks they are right. God didn't create religions -- man did. As to what is the RIGHT religion...I don't think it exists, but I do think that most of the religions today have a glimmer of the truth and were probably inspired divinely. That leaves it up to the individual to find the best "fit" for himself and to learn and pray on his own outside of the church. I certainly think it's our responsibility, as Christians or Jews or whatever to question what we are taught and reflect as to whether it reflects "truth"

Following Jesus is not a religion, it is the way, only people consider it a religion. First of all the fact is no one taught Christianity. You will not find evidence in the Bble of anyone doing so. Jesus was a Jew. He was referred to as Rabbi. He never taught, used or even heard of the terms Christianity or Christian throughout his lifetime on earth. Similarly, no one taught Judaism. You will not find evidence in the Bible of anyone doing so. Even Hinduism is a misnomer. There is no evidence in the “Hindu” scriptures of such a religion. All these are man-made labels God did not create these religions. The scriptures bear witness to that. If we use the main scriptures of ALL the major religions of the world the Vedas, the OT, the NT, the HQ and others as evidence and examine them in detail we will find that 1 ALL scriptures say that our universe has only one Maker. They all say that God is one. 2 ALL scriptures say you must practice EXCLUSIVE SUBMISSION TO (DO ONLY) THE WILL OF THIS ONE UNIVERSAL GOD. 3 There is one word that means what is in capitals in 2. The word is Islam. 4 It follows that ALL scriptures taught Islam. God only created one religion. The religion of exclusive submission to His will. It makes sense for Him to do so. The differences (diversity) are the creation of man not God.
