None of those phrases offended me at all.
I know some old ladies who get uptight when they hear the word, "horehound," for some reason.
I knew about two boys who went behind the barn to "exacerbate."
Ah, the ignorance of some folks...

Now, this is just people LOOKING for something to be offended over.
"Right-hand man" refers to the old... I want to say Roman... practice of a leader's deputy standing on his lord's right side. It's not an attack on left handed people. Sheesh.
"Master Bedroom". Seriously? We women have nothing better to do than get upset over the term "master bedroom"? If we want to be effective wives, mothers, AND career women, we really don't have time to worry over such pittance.
"Black sheep" refers to just that. Black wool that is less valuable than white wool - because it can't be dyed. OMG! A vocational idiom!
Now, if you want to find "fly in the buttermilk" offensive, go right ahead. That's MEANT to be offensive.
language is subjective, and at times an art. if i could eliminate any cultural exploit it would be Haiku. tell me someone wouldn't be bothered by that.
I found the term "rub out" to be a tad too explicit, given the subject of "right hands" and "southpaws" that kept being brought up.
;)
Hello NoIdea831, long time :)
I didn't find any of the terms offensive. Of the four voting choices perhaps "right-hand man" was one I do not care for. But it is certainly not offensive. Language can be tacky and inelegant; that does not necessarily equate with "hateful". Most of this PC crud I find humorous. :)

Did you know that, no matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to masticate your wenis?

LOL!
Too bad I can't give you points for that.
