Have you ever known anybody,or two people in your family or otherwise who talk about you behind your back,but silence errupts when you walk into the room? Why are some people like that? Any ideas?

Not in the family :
At work is another thing though. I know they're not talking "about" me, but it does seem that I happen to walk in OFTEN at the wrong moment or something. I hate the sudden silence. It makes me feel very awkward and I grab whatever I went up for, and exit fast back to my "office". I so often, feel like I just dont fit in there, 'cos I'm out of sight so much of the day.

I've actually had "family" do that to me. The ONLY thing I've been able to come up with is JEALOUSY!

- I don't get the point of jealousy,M. Is it just because I get attention from others that they crave? I can give them attention if they act civil.I won't understand it if I live a hundred more years. +6

- They're insecure and hate knowing they'll never have the pulchritude you have! I have to WORK at any pulchritude I have 'cause I KNOW what I look like WITHOUT make-up! It's just envy for something you'll NEVER be able to make up for in their lacking! It's really more THEIR problem than YOURS! I was always so sad for their company and wanted to be around them MORE, but THEIR insecurity precluded that! Sad. Very, very sad!

- Yes,It's like needing love in all the wrong places,but accepting it because that's all you can get.I wonder what I'd look like in another demension having been able to take care of myself better?

Yes family members and friends always talk behind our back ,beause so of them are jealous on us ,and they do not have anything to do in thier life so they gossip, and it not only family members or friends ,but you will find everywhere also in work places.

Maybe you are doing something that they don't like. It's not always about jealousy, you know. Take a good hard look at your behaviour and see if anything needs changing. You might be part of the problem.
