  • Not only that, I thought our country was built to eliminate "taxation without representation." I told my representative I won't pay income tax, but they still bill me!
  • because its no longer we the people, its more like we the government; the gov is supposed to work for us not the other way around, thats whats been evolving in this country for a long time.
  • Freedom of speech can lead to an a$$ whooping and even death not saying I agree with that but it has happened before. People are to inflexible and new ideas or old failed ideas or perceived failed ideas in word or in print can lead to GREAT violence I have seen this before.
  • I think you mistaking people getting arrested for WHAT they say versus HOW they are saying it. For example, if you walk down a sidewalk carrying a sign that says "President Obama sucks", the chances of you getting arrested are almost nil. On the other hand, if you stand in the middle of the busiest street in your town with that same sign, thereby disrupting traffic and being a public nuisance, you will probably have to deal with law enforcement. It's not the speech that's illegal, it's the disruption of public order that is.
