Help answer this question below.
i would drive to las vegas. go to 100 jewlery store. pretend i just won 10,000 at each and buy diamonds or gold. then go back home buy a gold melter melt the gold.and remold half into 2 statues.
be super nice to my grandmother and tell her that if she really loved me to specify in her will that all the gold found in her house was for me. Then lay low, when she dies ill pretend i find the statues at her house. sell the statues and live off of that. now i have proof and witness.
Tell absolutely no one, then make small purchases until I'd gotten everything I needed to make life more comfortable.
Tell no one. Some people I'd be protecting from knowing I had it for their own good (like my wife), and most people I'd be protecting from wanting some of my money. I'd have a safe installed in my home under the pretext of safely storing my gun (which I'd buy just for window dressing so my wife wouldn't be suspicious), and I'd keep the cash there.
I spend it slowly, over 15-20 years, here and there. I'd never buy any big ticket items (over $10,000). I wouldn't let it change my life too much.
I would constantly remind myself that as long as only I know, I'll be fine. Letting other people know - anybody - would be the classic and most likely error.
go to a random foreign country that does not have an extradition agreement with the usa and live like a queen.
I'd buy two ton steel safe and put the rest of the money inside it, then arrange it decrativly with flowers n-airy thang.
You've found my money? I really am grateful, will forward instructions to return it.
Launder it thru some sorta legit cash business. Maybe a coin-operated videogaming place?
;-)
Use it as a personal ATM for the upcoming few years.
Safe deposit box. Use it as personal ATM. Start (hopefully successful) business; set up corporation. Pay vendors in cash. Maybe I could create a charitable trust of some sort; live off funds until my demise when the charity takes receipt. If I had a finance confidante who could advise me, I'd be happy to pay exorbitant fees.
Two words!! Offshore Account!!
There is no such deposit requirement. I would take it to my financial planner and tell him to handle it.
I'd form a new company, and I will be the CEO, hire couple of people do so called businesses and forge the financial statements and lots of money will be paid to me as salary and once money is in my account I will close the company or continue it if it's profitable.
1) Take $100,000 wrap it up in the material I found the money in so someone else finds it 2) Make certain I left the money on the same path I found it . 3) lose my home thru eviction or foreclosure. 4) pack up the belongings, and money, leave town crying! Good Bye!
i will open 20 bank account (if its possible) and watch my money grow.
If you find this amount of money and make no attempts at finding the owner, there are two possibilities what will happen.
A drug dealer will come looking for you or the money belongs to a financial institution and they will come looking for you.
You cannot hide this sum of money, without drawing attention to yourself.
Its impossible.
1-i think i would try my hardest to find the owner of the large amount of cash. every situation you are put in is a test from God and i would hate to know that i stole a large amount of money from someone and then i get punished. it may seem fun to spend it when i find it but really by not doing the RIGHT thing will only cause more issues than i want
2-if no one claims the money and its all mine i would then pay off my debts
3-deposit some in my account
4-buy me a house and invest
Well ... I don't think I would keep it, but you say I do so I'll bite: I'd put it in a box under my bed (well, probably not really under my bed, but somewhere safe in my home), and spend it as required, slowly.
just spend aS MUCH as a want and wen its gone its gone never believed holding on to sumthing and not injoyin lol n about that just put a grand every few days if u waqnted it in the bank but money is still currency uno lol
first thing iw ould do is buy a safe!
then spend it from there.
I would look up on criminal cases of money laundering and go from there... mabye i would give it all to charities in cash anonoumusly... personaly I wouldn't steal becuase my reputation is worth far more than a measly million... besides I want to run for office in the future.
Turn it in to the authorities with the understanding that if no one claimed it after the standard acceptable time it would become mine.

Will a bank require you to fill out certain forms, other than the deposit slip, if the deposit is a high amount? (I.E. $10K or more)

You're reading You find $1,000,000 in cash. You decide to keep it. What would you physically do with it in order to be able to spend it? Don't forget that depositing over $5,000 (I believe) in a bank requires paperwork indicating the source.

Now I think more about it.. does it work in your country? Don't you have to prove that you won the money? And if you inherit something like that, don't you have to pay a huge amount of tax on it?
In my country if you get an inheritance you pay an incredible amount of tax on it. It's pure theft.
