I heard that organs and body parts can be grown. How does this happen? Does anybody know any good websites that explain this?

Yes this is happening. I watched an episode of Oprah with Dr. Oz and he discussed it. They were growing an internal organ with cells from a human. I'm sure you can google it to find more results!

We discussed this at my Alpha group because we wanted to know how the Catholic Church felt about human cloning!!

- Well I can't speak for the entire church and neither could my priest. He feels that science that can create life is a good thing. How can he feel anything but joy over a set of parents who tried naturally for years to conceive with no luck, only to find out that invitro worked! Yeah for life!!
  
  How could he feel anything but relief and joy over a parishoner who was dying of lung cancer that receives a new set of lungs that were developed in a lab using his own cells. Yeah for life!!

I don't think this is true or people wouldn't be looking for organs for transplants. The only time I've heard of any part of a human being being grown was the time a picture of a mouse with a human ear apparently growing from the mouse was shown in a magazine or newspaper. I forget. Anyway here is a picture of it.
