It took a couple months, but a week or so ago I finally finished reading the classic book "Gone With the Wind." The time was well spent turning those 1,000 pages, and I tell ya, the feeling I had when Scarlett proclaimed "Tomorrow is another day." to end the book, was priceless. Oh, the book costed $17.00 plus tax.

To answer the question, one would have to agree with the labelling of the passage of time as a "cost". I don't think it is. Maybe in the modern industrial sense, time is money. But if you are just talking about something you want to do, not for subsistence, but for personal fulfillment/betterment, any amount of time is worth it.

"what is still free…the air you breathe, the thoughts you think and the health of your life, body and family" Source and further information: http://www.healingcancernaturally.com/spirituality-bruno-groening.html I know, it costs some energy to breathe... :-)

I can't think of anything that doesn't at least cost time. Even taking a breath uses up a few seconds. I think your answer is no.
