• tru tru.. but its honestly the persons choice i believe that if i was diagnosed with a terminal disease i would life out as much as i could but once it became to much i would like the option of euthanasia and i woudnt want to die alone i would like for my family to accept my choice and be there with me like i would normally.

• i agree with you 100% i dont understand why the government believes they are the ones that can make this choice. as for the families that keep their relatives alive with life support though they are clinically dead i understand they are going thru alot of pain but i think it is wrong to keep someone on life support for their own benefit.. its not right

• Agreed. I think that if a person is brain dead, and on life support, the family should think about what that person would want, rather than selfishly thinking about what they want. It's not right to make someone stay alive against their will, just because you can't let go of them.

• tru sure my mum is a nurse and she had this thing that says do not resusitate and i have thought that is slightly radiculous.. i love my mum and if i cud help her i would but i dont think i cud go and do that if she doesnt want me to no matter how much i woudl want to..

• thank you.. were tlkin bout morals in modern history and euthanasia has become a big discussion and it has actually got me thinking why the law was actually turned. suicides not illegal so why shud this? its just generally suicide and if they want to kill themselves it their choice

• Assisted suicide is still considered killing someone and it's not whether the patient is determined to die, but it's the principal of things that counts, common sense.

• alright but that is ur opinion bot everyone out there is as strongly religious so they shud be given the choice not the choice made for them.. its not made like that. everyone gets so upset about people commiting suicide well maybe if they were listened to it wud drop

• Well, that was my opinion since you were asking me a question, but I would say if God can hear my prayer, then "science will have to come up with some special medication" to treat those that need the help. I'm not with or against euthanasia, because that's not my desicion. That's why I just gave a simple answer because I consider euthanasia as killing someone and if you read through my first comment, then that's just how I see things.
