Maybe those two have a thing going on?
Or maybe they don't like you that much..but i don't think it will be that.
What exactly did you want interpreted here?
:)

1.) I've never met Tom. He and this guy just moved into their dorms friday and spent all of saturday together. And this guy said that even if he couldn't find a party to go to, we would still do something together "Just me and you =]" were his words exactly. I'm just wondering if I should brush this off and not overanalyze it, or if I should be thinking that he ditched me... and he was the one who wanted to make plans in the first place.

I think he really did want to do something with you. But since he has just moved in, i can understand why he didn't want to leave his room mate. I think just this time, you should forget about it. Make a new plan to go out. And see what happens. If he ditches you again then maybe then you should have a think about it. But right now, i wouldn't worry about it :) I am sure he meant well.

It seems pretty straight forward to me, what don't you understand?

Thanks strength. Just a little self-doubt can really get to a person sometimes. Thanks for telling me what I think is the truth too. :) Gingerminx, I'm just wondering how you would interpret the situation if you were in my shoes, and I can see what you think by your comment. thanks :)

I try never to read into peoples words things that aren't there.

Yea, it can get to a person sometimes in situations like that. But no reason to doubt this time :)
