  • Yes. Breasts are merely mammary glands for feeding a baby. Perfectly natural.
  • No. Women apparently are not "turned on" by the sight of topless men. Wish we could say the same for men at the sight of topless women. Blame Adam and Eve.
  • As a straight women, I wouldn't care. It's nothing I haven't seen before. I personally wouldn't because I need the support! lol.
  • No,there are alot of immature men that would be gawging at you like some new toy.
  • Sure as long as she doesn't have two fried egg for breasts!
  • Yes. And they're allowed to do so, In Eugene Oregon.
  • There was a law passed in Ontario,Canada roughly 7-9 years ago making it legal for women to go topless in public. It was started when Gwen Jacobs got hot while cutting her grass and took her shirt off just like any man would have done.
  • Yes, undoubtedly. Either that or men should be banned from doing so. Inequality for the lose. To be frank, we really should be able to go naked.
  • They certainly should. It's only fair. Breast Appreciation Month is coming up soon, and we should be ready for it.
  • Yes I agree. Lets start now! You heard him ladies, Off with those tops and those confining Bra's!!!!
  • Meh. I'm fine as long as no one tries to stop me from feeding my son in public. Fortunately, it's been over a year and I have yet to get worse than a sidelong dirty look. I dare anyone demand I feed my son in a bathroom because they are afraid of seeing the side of my breast.
  • Honestly, yes. I really don't want to see anyone topless, male or female, walking down the street. but, if men can women should be able to also
  • Men are stimulated by visuals, so would we women be prepared to watch men with stimulated body parts when they see us?
  • YES. By the way I have read many signs that say shirts and shoes are required. They never mention a requirement of pants. Everyone should just go pantless for a day of all out fun.
  • I have argued this point since I was a kid. I was always annoyed that my dad and brother could go outside topless and I couldn't. However Women have Boobs. Men are distracted by them. Therefore it makes sence that we have to keep them concealed. The amount of rape's would probably increase as well. So, we shall continue sweating in our shirts while the guys are nice and cool without them. Oh cruel world!
  • It is not unlawful for a lady to go topless in any city in NC
  • yes. its not fair that we take our tops off, and get a ticket for indecent exposure, all because someone is embarrassed by the human body, and may have to explain to their child "what those are" its a crying shame..
  • No. I don't think men should go topless either, as it is unprofessional. If you're talking about swimming or whatnot, well - there are nude beaches for that. There is a huge difference in the chest of women vs. men. You can't compare the two.
  • Rethinking: What do we mean by saying "allowed"? Allowed by whom? Why should any government or power group have the authority to tell free citizens what they may and may not wear? Businesses may establish their own rules, and we have to respect that. But nobody should be able to compel anyone else to dress or to undress. If we let the government say that, we also grant them the power to say that we must go naked in order to appear in public.
  • Yes if we have all perverts and sexual predators behind bars, yes if we can ensure that noone would outrage their modesty, if we can change the way we perceive women and treat them acutally like women and most of a human being and not a sexual object!
  • Only hot chix like me!!
  • No. Everyone should wear a shirt.
  • In Ontario, women may go topless. I don't think anyone actually does, though.
  • Well, perhaps not. After all, if god wanted us to go about naked, we'd be born with no clothes on.
  • Only the beautiful ones. :)
  • A North Carolina Supreme Courth case.I will look it up.
  • Well, women are allowed to go topless in public where I live. Does that mean I see topless women often? Nope. It's not really a big deal. If you make it legal where you live and women try it out for a day or so, you may find that they really don't like the attention all that much after all...
  • One "hell yes" vote from me.
  • In NC there was a case in 1998 State vs Fry. In the case a man " Mooned" a lady. Now he pulled his shorts down to his feet.He had no shirt on,so he was nude from head to toe.She saw his buttocks.cheeks, and crack. The case opened a whole can of worms as to what "Private Parts" are and are not. This lead to topless in public. It was later ruled that if a man can go topless in public then a female has equal protection under the law.So with that said topless females and Mooning is lawful in NC.
  • In the *fictional Kingdom of Trypheme, King Pausole established a law that ugly people were not permitted to go naked in public. The social result was ----- well, interesting, to say the least. *Fiction: the Novel is "The Adventures of King Pausole," by Pierre Louys. You can get an English translation.
  • On Lake Travis in Travis County, just above Austin, Texas, there are several "nude" or "clothing optional" beaches. I'm not sure whether the law permits this or the sheriff just ignores it; but it's been that way ever since the 1970s. If you're considering a trip to Austin, it's called "Hippie Hollow."
  • Hell Yes, well there may be more auto accidents, LOL
  • Wrong question. The question should be, should lawmakers be allowed to tell us what we can or cannot wear?
  • NO WAY!!! What is the world coming to? That would violate every notion of decency that civilization has held for thousands of years. I can't believe the general consensus in the answers I read. I for one don't want to have to see breasts everywhere I go.
  • No, of course not. Eve was topless in the period of innocence but when she fell into she felt ashamed of nakedness. Although topless is not akin to nakedness, I still think it is inappropriate.
