Help answer this question below.
Open the back of your cellphone.
Take out the battery.
Clean the terminals with alcohol and a Qtip.
Make sure the battery is placed back in the same position.
If this does not work, your battery is dead.
Time for a replacement from WalMart.
Buy a new battery
May be time for a new phone
Sounds like you may need a new batery, or a new charger. I was having the same type of problem, my phone just wouldn't charge. Then I got a new charger and I haven't had a problem since.

You're reading My cell phone won't charge. Whenever I put it on the charger, it says it's charging for about ten seconds, then it tells me to insert the battery, but the battery is in. It'll go back & forth b/w telling me to insert the battery and saying it's charging.
