Help answer this question below.
That's one of the cool things about the university life = there's always someone to relate to no matter what your interest(s)!
;-)
If you are comfortable with going there, for the curriculum, the campus, the lifestyle, then go for it. I pledged a frat my freshman year and de-pledged. And AFTER hell week. Frat life wasn't for me. Do not worry about those kind of social aspects. There are clubs, dining halls, and classes to meet people. If you want that, fine. If you don't, also fine. But is Alabama the place to pursue your education? That question you really need to answer.
All Universities and colleges, even the strict religious ones, have their serious non party type students and those that party a lot. You can usually find the type you want to hang out with just by getting to know people and being friendly.
And Greek life is highly exaggerated.
I am trying to decide on a college and am considering the University of Alabama. However, I am not a partier. Are the majority of students there partiers and/or part of Greek Life or is this an exaggeration?
