Is it illegal to sell a car without a spare wheel and jack

    I would think that if you are selling the car as a road worthy vehicle, with a roadworthy certificate, then yes, you would need those items. Different countries may have different rules regarding the items required for a vehicle to be consided roadworthy, but to the best of my knowledge, here in AUST a spare wheel and jack are on the list.
