Do you think that since we have a minimum wage, it would make sense to have a maximum wage? If so, what do you think that wage should be and what should it entail?

    If market forces (supply and demand) are let to operate freely in the labor market,instead of fixing a minimum wage, the unemployment would be less.

    No, I do not think that a maximum wage makes sense. The intent of the minumum wage is to ensure a minumum quality of life for a person. If you put on a maximum, what is the motivation for people to achieve when they approach it? Their accomplishments won't be rewarded with a promotion and raise.

    Capitalism is driven by the goal of accumulating capital - wealth. If you set a maximum on it, you are undermining the driving force of the economy.
