Four year old Mitsubishi 52" connected to Dish Network satellite and DVR. the image on most but not every channel will freeze and the audio continue. It's like watching a damaged dvd. It does it on DVR playback, too.

    Hmm. It sounds like possibly your dish needs to be carefully re-aimed to pick up a stronger signal. It may be on the verge of dropping out all of the time.

    Some satellites and/or transponders will come in better than others, which is why you may be getting decent reception on some of the channels.

    It is kind of strange, though, that the audio continues. I think it's also possible there's something wrong with your DVR, but I'd definitely go through the process of getting the dish zeroed in first.
