There are two types. Sex addicts are usually addicted to the behaviors leading up to intercourse. Orgasm addicts are addicted to getting orgasms, whether it be through masturbation or with a partner.

Yeah, it's real. I have a friend who had the problem. He said he couldn't help himself and would get in the car and hunt for prostitutes, even though he knew it was risky and he shouldn't be doing it. It wrecked his marriage. I've known him for many years and I believe him when he says he couldn't stop without going to the equivalent of AA meetings.
