in ernest becker's book, the denial of death, he examines addiction as a means we use to avoid our facing our ultimate demise. as such, i've been addicted to anything that one can become addicted to but have stopped each finding new ways to become addicted to new things. my latest addictions are: AB, NCIS, health care reform.
