I love making home made wild rice soup, or miso soup. When I don't want home made though, McDougall's makes a kick ass vegan, gluten free cup of noodle soup - Pad Thai and Tortilla Soup are all I've tried so far, and they were quite seductive to the tongue for something stuck in a microwave.

I would say a few times a month I have soup. Sometimes more or less depending on weather. I usually eat the cheap ramen noodle soup and I add fresh things like minced garlic, onions, fresh ginger or sometimes shrimp and a beaten egg. If it wasn't so unhealthy I would probably eat cream of broccoli or cream of mushroom, those two were childhood favorites but don't eat them anymore. after thinking of all this soup, I've now remembered my new favorite soup, it's hot and sour soup from most Chinese restaurants, I like to examine how much attention they put into this dish, every place makes it different and I enjoy sampling the variety What are your favorites?
