Question

When you see people driving around with their kid(s) on their lap and/or the kids jumping around and obviously not in seatbelts, what do you do? Do you say something to them? Ignore it? Call 911?

It really irritates me to see people being so careless especially with kids in the car. I mind my own business though. You never know people's reaction I live in LA people got shot out here for stuff like that. It's not funny!

this is one of those places where the law and me split.. we both agree that it is Tragic .. and is just a tragedy waiting to happen .. but i in no way agree that my ideas of "good parenting" be forced on others.. if billy joe bob and missy sue want to have 9 kids in the pinto with them.. it is none of my business. .or the Laws.. "buckle up or ticket" is just a fee in the land of the Fee.. if they don't want to live i won't force them.. now if they are swerving on the road .. kids, drunk, bees, i don't care .. that is wrecklessly endangering the rest of the people's life on the road.. unless they are on a private road then they can kill themselves if they want.. sucks to have careless parents ..but it sucks even worse having a tyrannic government hell bent on "security and safety" they'll have everyone in a bubble prison before long ..for our own safety.

hope something/someone runs infront of the car so the parent has to slam on the brakes; that'll sort 'em out ;)

I think of this as Darwins theory in motion
no one who's drive can claim ignorance to the benefits of this, so I look at it as population control

    Hi Shemarq,
Honestly since they are not my kids I would not get involved, again. I've encountered situations like this where I did get involved (called police) and nothing was done except me getting hassled. I would hope the driver would pull over and regain control of the situation. :)
