I'd imagine that all of the Americans would've outsourced their souls to foreign countries, and thus wouldn't be in Hell.

They wouldn't have a specific role, they would just be there being loud, obnoxious, aggressive, and ignorant; all the while telling everyone else what they should be doing and generally making the whole place less pleasant.
