Excedrin contains both aspirin and acetaminophen (the active ingredient in Tylenol), so it's a good option if you are experiencing severe pain. If you don't know how much to take, read the dosing instructions, and do not exceed the recommended amount. Acetaminophen can cause liver damage in large doses.
Ask your pharmacist. Do not take more than is recommended. I had an acquaintence die from liver failure from taking Tylenol for headaches. She was in her mid 20's and very healthy.
Aspirin can cause severe irritation in your stomach and increased bleeding (not clotting).
OTC meds are serious stuff.
Well all of our bodies are different. But I can take 3 Tylenol and be ok with it.
I was told by a doctor one time that you can take 2 Advil and 1 Tylenol and that is equal to a prescription pain medication.
I also use Excedrine Migraine and it has 250mg.of Tylenol AND 250mg of Asprin in it. So you could mix the Tylenol and Asprin accordingly.

Don't take more than is recommended on the package. Tylenol (I read somewhere) is going to reduce the daily maximum on their packaging because it is really toxic if you take more than recommended.
I find aspirin to relieve pain better than Tylenol, and that both work equally well with fever relief.
