I really really wanna learn portuguese (brazilian portuguese).. I plan on purchasing rosetta stone but until then i bought a portuguese for dummies book. It came with an audio cd which i put on my ipod. Are those books a waste of money?

  Does anyone know any sites which would help me to learn the Portuguese language? I would really like to actually learn it but don't really think a site would be exactly 'teaching' me (if you know what i mean). So is it possible?
