    4839 miles.
Hell, I'd walk if I could.

But I can't walk *or* drive, because there's a rather large ocean in the way, so I geuss I'll just have to swim.

I would drive an hour if it wasn't threatening.

Any more, and I would refer another friend. =)

Depends on what kind of help they needed and my situation at the time. There are a lot of factors that determine this.

But I do know that if my friend in Albany, NY (14 hr drive) called and said she needed me to come and asked me to trust her I'd jump in my car right away and drive out there.

Depends on what they need help with and what kind of friend they are. If they've truly entered my friend circle, I'd get my license, and drive to the end of the earth and back.

Whatever was necessary. A friend of mine drove 400 miles in a day after my ex threw me out and all my stuff was piled up in her shed 200 miles away from the nearest friend, as id only just relocated there and knew no-one.

I once drove from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Clarkesville, Tennessee to help a friend move. It took us about 12 hours I think to get there.

If a friend ever required my assistance I'd be there in a second. Without hesitation.
