• It was six years of struggle. Of study, of inventiveness, of building discipline, of overcoming tilt (poker speak for "becoming upset"), of learning to manage my bankroll. It's a very complicated game if you are to reach a high level. And, complicated in terms of not just playing but choices you make in terms of table selection, who to play against, etc.

• that's exactly what i was thinking. there is this saying going around "pick a job you love and you will never work..." i never quite understood how that worked out. lol

• Depends on the hobby, how good the person is at it and how motivated they are to make money. Worked for Tiger Woods. Might not work for Joe Schmo;)
