    I'm throwing myself to the lions to answer on the question as I've read the other answers here...I'm a Muslim and I find things like that disgusting as well...that has nothing to do with the religion, that is someone misinterpretting the scripture or perverting it to fit their own needs. Proper Islam, the Islam that I follow, doesn't condone that at all.
