Help answer this question below.
I think you should provide more details, like version no, OS, pc type etc. So it will be helpful to us to provide you answer. Or if you have got answer, let us know as well.
Don't know QP verson, OS version, and if the two play nice together. But when you click Previous Invoice, Quickbooks displays previous invoices according the date, not invoice number. So if #101 was dated 8/5, #102 was dated 7/28, and #103 was dated 8/11, when clicking Previous would show #103, then #101, then # 102. Did someone change some dates on the older invoices? That's gotta be the problem unless you have a bug.
Do yourself a favor and read KeynoteSupport's tutorials, like http://www.keynotesupport.com/accounting-transactions.shtml (It's where this dim-wit finally learned Accounting). Hope this helped.
What is the best way to keep track of returns so that you can essentially keep them from showing up on a list of the parts used for a job?

When entering Items in the lists menu in Quickbooks, how do you decide the type? We sell promotional products and do not track inventory. It isn't a service. I'm not sure what to choose for the type of item.

You're reading This is a question about Quickbooks Pro. Why when I push the previous button while looking at an invoice does it not go back to the previous invoice but rather one way before? Eg. Looking at invoice # 1239 and push previous, it goes to #471. Why?
