Did anyone play MONOPOLY on Pogo.com trying to win a spot in the MONOPOLY World Championships this October?

I did, but the odds were somewhat stacked against me. They had 1.7 million qualified entries of which they selected 32 random entries from US, Canada, Germany, France, and the UK. Those winners played in a tournament and Fay Whistler of the UK came out on top and won a free trip to Las Vegas to compete in the 2009 World Championship.
