There was a revolution there in 1905, but the pivotal one was in 1917.
I don't know how I missed a question in my honor. Thanks, Idne! As David pointed out, there were a series of revolutions in Russia. The Revolution of 1905 was a series of strikes and anti-government violence against Tsar Nicholas II. The Revolution of 1917 included the February Revolution, which resulted in the Czars abdication, and the October Revolution which was the Bolshevik seizure of power. The Third Russian Revolution, 1918-1922, was the failed anarchist revolution against the Bolsheviks and the White movement.
