What do you think of the Fertility Doctors that have implanted twelve babies into a woman? She is due to give birth within the next few days.

To me this is as cruel as the experiments the Nazis conducted in World War II on hapless victims. This is a high crime and needs to be stopped NOW.

- Yes I agree it makes the parents get their children kept for life though . Everything provided included nurses. Somebody says this is a spoof but they showed the scan on the BBC.

I realize they implant more eggs hoping to get one viable fetus; but that is unbelievable and ridiculous. If that poor woman gives birth to 12 babies; he should take responsibity for 1/2! I thought the most they were supposed to implant was 4 at a time! They need to think about what they are doing before they do it. I realize the chance of an egg implanting isn't that great and they're hoping for one; but sometimes they all become implanted and get the opposite affect!

- The Mother is given the choice very early in the pregnancy to decide how many of the fertised eggs to keep. It is a GREAT Money earner. They will never have to pay a penny to look after the children will get 24/7 child care and everything paid for Neither parent will have to work either.That is what happened with the women that had eight which was the previous record.

they implant many because of the odds of failure... on each individual embryo, though I understood standard practice was 4. going through the implantation procedure 12 times before you have a viable fetus would be tough on a woman so they have to play the odds... however when roling half a dozen 6 sided dice, every once in a great while you will roll all 6 1s.

- I realise that they have to implant more than may actually carry to full term but this is like being a swine with a litter; and very unsafe for both Mother and children.

He should be sentenced to at least 9 months of solo care of all 12 babies when they are born.
This isn't about helping women who are childless anymore.
This is about the biggest litter and world records.

Seems incredibly irresponsible.
No one needs to have 12 children in one pregnancy. No one.
How selfish and careless on everyone's behalf.
I wonder how much the health of the mother and each child will be compromised because of it.

- I thought they last one with eight babies was bad enough. I think the whole fertility scene needs investigating when some women cannot even have one baby. Thank you for your reply :)

I think the doctors are just trying to get their names to go down in history, without thinking much as to whether they'll be viewed as a monster or a genius.

I think the mother is worse, setting that many children up for lives that probably won't be as good as any child deserves.
