Can you smoke methadone tablets?

    Someone probably has tried it, but I can find no research on this topic. Typically pills contain a great deal of non-active ingredients, such as talc in methadone. Pills should not be ground up for injection for this reason. But as far as smoking it, the only problem I can see is the heat may render the psychoactive ingedient ineffective.

    With great difficulty and much waste, yes. Personally I would (IF I wanted to smoke 'done) extract the Methadone HCl and convert it to the freebase, and THEN smoke it. Smoking a salt form of a drug wastes it in pyrolysis.

    No you cant! Methadone comes in either wafer form or liquid form! If u try an smoke it you will burn the pill up! You can smoke OxyContins on tin foil! Inhale the smoke that rises! I have never heard of smoking Methadone! Have you thought about getting on Suboxone? A lot better and u dont have to go to a clinic everyday! Just go to an addictionologist and he will prescibe it to you.
