That's a really tricky situation.....in general, her receiving the money from the sale of her home would, I would think, automatically disqualify her for Medicaid....you could - maybe - have it put in your name, but that's really dishonest.....but of course has been done!! I really don't know what to tell you!! I'm afraid if you went to an attorney who could help in matters like this, it'd be considered, again, perhaps illegal? but I'm not sure.....and they probably wouldn't help you with this type of thing anyway.....guess I'm not much help, but at least I hope it gets you to thinking!!!
Can somebody rent out a house about to go into foreclosure in Michigan? I went through a rental agency as well.

We have someone staying with us. Not the best situation. Came here with hardly any warning. We are giving him 3 nights and 3 nights only.

You're reading My mom, who lives in Calif. is moving to my home state of Georgia. My mom is on Medical (CA) and GA has Medicaid, she will receive cash for her home sale, I don't want her to lose her Medicaid which pays for her prescriptions, what is the best thing to do
