There is nothing wrong with it. Its a normal part of human life.
I don't think it's a should or shouldn't kind of thing, Doyle. If it helps a mother, then it did what it was supposed to do. +5
I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean, I think it is a little weird, as dolls are usually marketed at children, and children don't usually breastfeed... however I suppose it's fine. Breastfeeding is a completely natural and normal part of human life, and I don't see any reason to hide it from children.
If they are dolls aimed at kids. No. Children do not need to learn how to breastfeed... It will be a long time before they need that skill.
However, teaching dummies like the ones used to practise CPR on, could have some uses. I doubt that many women would enjoy having a doll latch on to their breasts though
No, dolls don't need to teach breastfeeding
wht iz ther tu 'lurn' abt it???... :s... peace!!!
Children learn what is normal from childhood. If they grow up thinking bottles are the only way to feed babies then they will automatically be conditioned by society to bottlefeed.
Why is it treated is inappropriate to market breastfeeding in toys and therefore normalise it and get rid of this silly notion that is it somehow treated as something xrated.
My daughter was bought a toy dog for christmas that has two little fluffy puppies that she can attach and it looks like mummy dog is feeding them :-) it also came with a bottle but thats been long since discarded.
how long does it take to relactate? My wife is trying too and it seems to be taken longer than expected.
