If I know a person who killed another person in Australia and the case is still being investigated, is there a law requiring me (a minor) to tell the police even if I haven't been interviewed or questioned?

Even as a minor, you can contact law enforcement yourself. In years to come, your conscience will start to torture you and you will be reminded everytime you see this person.
You know the name of the killer and someone is dead. A family is mourning the loss of that person and the killer is walking around free.
If this person had killed someone you loved, how would you feel if someone out there knew who did it but kept silent? Please, call them and tell them you want to talk with total trust and confidentiality because you are afraid and a minor. They are waiting to catch this killer and you know who it is. Please call them.

do you eat, drink or sleep because "the law" tells you, you must?

do the right thing, whether the law requires it or not, and let the authorities know what you know. you can probably do it anonymously.

    good luck
