    Sure, evidence is evidence. The defense or prosecution can attack it, but any good tech can testify whether it is valid, not faked. The jury can decide. Why do you think stores have video cams running all the time?

    Yes, trials are supposed to be public. I think with technology today, there is no reason not to watch a trial. Rather than the press doing it, I think it would be better if videoed by the court. I do think a room full of media is too distracting to the proceeding.

    depends on the nature of the case. if some corporate a-hole stole millions of dollars and escaped via helecopter, yeah. televise that crap! but if it would put anyone involved in danger, than no.

    Yes. Its a much better record than a transcription. A trial is also considered public domain as well.
