You've just bought a new item of clothing that says 'wash before wearing'. Do you or don't you?

I wash all the clothing I buy before I wear them. It's just more "sanitary" .. you never knew who was trying them on ... or how long they were hanging on the hanger, etc. With packaged clothing, I wash them to get out the wrinkles, etc.

I never wash something new before wearing. Then again, I don't wash my vegetables or fruit either.

I always wash everything I buy before I wear it..I've worked clothing retail in the past, who knows how many and what kind of people tried on the clothing or what kind of conditions or how long it's been sitting in the store....just good practice to wash it first.

Some of the itchiest moments of my life were spent wearing a new, unwashed shirt. I gotta wash them in warm soapberry tea when I buy them or the drive me mad.
