Read over the shoulder of the passenger next to me; wonder how much all those folks paid for their ticket, especially in first class; try to get comfortable; guess the weight of that big guy who should have purchased two seats; imagine a demon or angel sitting on the wing; look at my big map book to see if I can identify where we are; listen to the baby cry and send him calming thoughts telepathically.
I just about died laughing when I read the one about the crying baby! Bravo!

ooo I love it!
Apart from sleeping, I find puzzles help me breeze through the ascending and descending part of the flight. =D

I know someone with the same fear. Her solution: She takes a strong sleeping pill half an hour before the flight. She sleeps during the whole flight.
